Associate Professor Theodoros Kosmanis

Dr. Theodoros Kosmanis is Associate Professor at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management of the International Hellenic University, Greece and Director of the Electric Vehicles and Automotive Electronics Laboratory (E.V.A.E.L.). He received the Diploma in Electrical Engineering and the PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering with specialization in computational electromagnetics from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineers of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, in 1997 and 2002, respectively. His research interests include electric vehicle battery modeling and simulation, automotive electronics and computational electromagnetics. He is the Director of the research laboratory of Energy Systems. He has served in many academic administrative positions, including that of the head and vice-head of the department, member of the Senate, member of the Research Committee etc. He collaborates as reviewer for several journals and conferences. He is member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE).
