The Department of Industrial Engineering and Management of the International Hellenic University, coordinator of the Erasmus+ KA2 project entitled “IHNABITAT”, successfully participated in the in-person laboratory activities conducted during the first mobility period of the project at Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) in Kaunas, Lithuania, from 18 to 30 May 2026.
During their stay, students spent many hours in KTU’s facilities working with both hardware and software to develop data acquisition systems. More specifically, during the first week they worked with educational microcontroller platforms such as Arduino, as well as industrial tools including LabVIEW software and National Instruments equipment.
During the second week, the students collaborated with colleagues from Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences within the framework of the laboratory activities of the courses IoT Platforms and Systems. This collaboration provided an excellent opportunity for knowledge exchange and teamwork in an international academic environment.
The students greatly enjoyed their stay and highly appreciated the fully equipped and well-organized lecture halls and laboratory facilities of Kaunas University of Technology.
In the next academic year, the programme’s teaching activities will continue at Politecnico di Milano in Milan, Italy.
